Our Community

Icknield Way Parish

The school was formed in 1973 on the union of the schools for the parishes of Chrishall and Elmdon with Wenden Lofts.  We are proud of our status as a voluntary aided school and strive to uphold the Christian ethos in every aspect of school life. In fact, our school lies at the geographical centre of what is now the Parish of the Icknield Way Villages, formed from the union of six parishes and seven churches in 2008. We admit children from the whole Parish, although our catchment serves Chrishall and Elmdon with Wenden Lofts first.

The Rector and members of the Parish team are involved in school life, for example taking regular assemblies and running a lunchtime Bible club. For further information see www.icknieldwayparish.blogspot.co.uk
