Creativity & living well together

Creativity and Living Well Together

  1. To what extent does the school’s Christian vision and associated values underpin relationships at all levels in the school community, enabling pupils to disagree well and to practise forgiveness and reconciliation? Is this reflected in the school’s behaviour, exclusion, and attendance policies?
  2. How well do leaders ensure there is support for good mental health in children and adults and a sense of belonging that embraces and celebrates difference?

Student behaviour

Our schools rules have a biblical underpinning.

Ofsted report 2022 - Pupils are positive and kind. Older pupils willingly mentor the younger ones. They act as role models, demonstrating the ‘super seven rules’ to ensure that school is a place where pupils feel happy and safe.

Wellbeing and Mental Health

See wellbeing page for further details.

We celebrated Diversity Day and discussed the need to embrace our differences as together that is what makes a colourful society where we can get strength from each other.

We take part in mental health week each year. We also talk about good mental health as part of PSHE teaching and Zones of Regulation work as well as in Metacognition work.

We hosted the Lily Jo project in school.
