KS1 Commonwealth Event (Mrs Cook)

Today, some of the KS1 children took part in a special mini Commonwealth Games sports event at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden. Representatives from our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes made up team 'Australia' and tried their hand at a variety of throwing, catching, bouncing and balancing activities. All of our wonderful children took part with real enthusiasm, growing in confidence throughout the morning as they tried new activities. It was a real pleasure to see their beaming faces supporting each other!
