Tuesday 14th December

Tuesday 14th December (Mrs Dyer)

Busy, busy, busy!! That would sum up the last couple of weeks here in Nightingale! We have filmed our Nativity and can't wait to share it with the children and families later this week.

Yesterday we got busy with data. The children were learning how to organise data into a branching database and how computers use this type of system.

We stared by sorting shapes and animals and thinking about the questions we could ask of the data.

Then we used the new ipads and a prigramme from j2e to create branching databases.

We also had a very great surprise, when during our lesson, Santa appeared outside and dropped off presents for all the children!

We still have Christmas lunch to look forward to and our movie afternoon as well as watching the nativity and of course our end of term carol concert, so we are not finished yet but I would like to wish everyone a super Christmas holiday when it arrives!
